CRC SMALLBORE RESULTS 3-9-25
We had some amazing shooting Sunday at CRC. The weather was great! If you weren't there, you should have been. Below are a few of the highlights from the matches:
Standard Rifle: David Bonner was the match winner with a 51/ 60. He shot 2 Standard Rifle Long Runs
PIGS: 23 IN A ROW
CHICKENS: 16 IN A ROW
HUNTER RIFLE: Chris Farwell was the Match Winner with a score of 56 / 60. (yes 56 / 60!!). This was a Range Record at CRC for Hunter Rifle. I believe it is also a Colorado record since we don't shoot 60 round matches elsewhere.
Chris also had several long runs:

SILHOUETTE SCHEDULE SWITCHAROO (APRIL ONLY)
Next month, April, we will be shooting Smallbore Rifle Silhouette at Aurora on the first Sunday (April 6th). We will be shooting HighPower on the 2 nd Sunday ( 4-13-25) at CRC. We won’t be having a Smallbore match at CRC in April. The normal Greenmill on the 20th and Aurora on the 27th were not changed.

Colorado Firearm Storage in Vehicles
A few people asked me to post a reminder / public info announcement about storing firearms in Unattended motor vehicles in Colorado. Basically any handgun left in a motor vehicle that is unattended must be stored in a hard sided, locked case with a few exceptions. Long guns must also be locked. If you want all the details, search for Colorado HB 24-1348, or look up the statute 18-12-114.5
