December 31st  Match at Aurora Gun Club is canceled.  Do your really have to ask why??
With wind chill values as low -2, my nut sack shrinks to the size of a raisin.

I was hoping for a late Christmas miracle that weather would improve so we could shoot.
Well as you can see that did not happen. Hopefully we will be shooting high power next Sunday at CRC. Remember CRC high power starts year round at 9:00 am

December 24 Match at Aurora Gun Club

Hi All, The weather looks to be very cold for tomorrow, a forecast high of 32°.  The forecasters said that we would probably have sun and very little wind. With that said we will be shooting tomorrow at Aurora we may not have enough for a match where I’ll give ammo out , but we will shoot nonetheless .
Hope to see you all there tomorrow. If I don’t see you have a Merry Christmas and hopefully will see you next week.

Greenmill match canceled, we will be shooting at Aurora on Saturday Dec. 16

The Greenmill match is canceled due to forecast cold temperature on Sunday.

 We we will be shooting at Aurora Gun Club on Saturday Dec. 16. Saturday forecast high is going to be a 48 degrees with party cloudy and sunny vs the forecast Sunday's forecast high of 37 degrees with a 30 % chance of snow.

I know this is short notice but if you want to shoot this weekend here is your chance.
The range will open at 8:30 and the match will start at 10AM

High Power Start time on Oct. 1 2017

Hi all, I talked with Bob McAlice about the Sundays high power match. He wanted to remind all of you the high power start time do not change like the smallbore start time do starting in October.

High power will always start a 9:00 AM year around. Our current schedule does not reflect this change.
The 2018 schedule will show the correct start times.

Greenmill has canceled their match.  I will having a practice match tomorrow at the Aurora Gun Club. I want to start shooting the match at  around 9 am in order to beat the impending snow that is predicted late morning  / early afternoon.

The weather guessers are saying the temperature will be in the 50's.
