Yet again, no practice due to forecasted snow and cold on Sunday.

Aurora Gun Club Match is on for Jan. 23, 2011

Hi all, The Aurora Gun Club Match is on for Jan. 23, 2011. The weather looks to cool in the morning and warming up into the 40's. The range will open at 8:30 AM for practice and the match will start a 10:00 AM.

(Trent don't forget your boots and lucky under wear with the brown racing stripe.)

Alternate Match at Aurora Gun Club 1/16/2011

Hi all,
The Green Mill match has been canceled. I have the range ready for a match. The berms are cleared and I made walking paths with the tractor. It will be wet and muddy, so bring your mud boots. The range will open at 8:30 AM and the match will start at 10.00 AM.

January 9 CRC Smallbore

Smallbore match is cancelled tomorrow because of cold and possibly snow. Better luck next month. Hope to see you at Greenmill next week.

Lever gun match this Saturday

A reminder that CRC's first center fire lever gun silhouette match will be held this coming Saturday. Jim Goodnight will be running these and will include rimfire and pistol cartridge in the coming months. I will be out there to give it a try, might as well get in a match before the next blast of cold and snow arrives. Grab your .30/30 and come out for some fun.

No HP practice this weekend.

With Sundays forecast calling for a low of near 10 to a high temp of 30, depending on what channel you believe, there will be no HP practice this weekend. Throw in any wind and it would be quite a nasty day to shoot. I got my HP fix in today.. great conditions .. hey I got the HP fever bad and had to take advantage before the big chill and snow on the way. We will try again on Feb.6th. Bob M.
